We will leave PARIS around 8.00 in the morning. After some time following a picturesque road surrounded by vineyards, we arrive at EPERNAY, the capital of Champagne, a charming little town where some of the most famous champagne cellars in the world are located. We will walk along the Avenue of Champagne and include entrance and visit to the Mercier wineries – the same house that produces the Moet Chandon. The visit is made by train and includes a tasting of the most famous sparkling drink in the world.
We continue to REIMS, where we meet the Catedral de Reims, an impressive Gothic cathedral and one of the most important in France. This cathedral was the coronation place of the kings of France for centuries. We continue our route to Alsace, a region disputed over the centuries between France and Germany whose language "Alsatian" is a dialect of German and whose architecture and traditions have great Germanic roots. We arrived in STRASBOURG, the Alsati apitaland seat of the European Parliament. Its historic center is beautiful, with its neighborhood of "La petite France" full of canals and flowers, its medieval streets and its impressive Gothic cathedral. We will take a walk with our guide and have free time. Accommodation.
