Here we give you a guidance on their tour with the information that we believe may be of your interest. The information is indicative, may exist variations on designated hours.
TRANSFER from the airport, if you have it included or purchasing. Our transfer will be waiting for you with a poster on behalf of Europamundo or its name to the output of the custom (after collecting your luggage)..
Remember to inform us by phone if you lost your connection flight or expected delay of their arrival, in your VOUCHER figure the phone of the transfer.
IMPORTANT: If you had additional nights upon arrival the hotel will have your reservation, but his travel guide normally will not be until the night before the start of the tour.

Arrival at Cairo airport, where our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel. Free time Cairo, in Arabic ‘the victorious’, is the capital of Egypt, the largest city in the Arab world and Africa where we can find a mixture of ancient and modern; extraordinary mosques, historical monuments, neighbourhoods with a lot of personality, art museums, markets, authentic and genuine bazaars. <b>Note: </b>In summer temperatures are higher, so visits to archaeological sites are made earlier in the day to avoid the hottest hours of the day. It is recommended to wear sports shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat or cap for these visits.</i><br><br><br>Breakfast.<br><br><br><b>07:00 hrs.-: </b>We will visit the <b>esplanade of the Pyramids</b>, the most famous of which are those of the pharaohs Cheops, Kephren and Mykerinos (entrance to the interior of the pyramids not included), as well as the <b>enigmatic Sphinx</b>. Afterwards we will visit the <b>Papyrus Institute</b> for about 30 minutes, where we will see how the papyrus is handmade.<br><br><br><b>11:30 hrs.-: </b>Visit the <b>Coptic Quarter</b>, which is nowadays one of the meeting places of the Egyptians and one of the oldest areas of the city. Visit the Hanging Church.<br><br><br><b>12:30 hrs.-:</b> Visit the <b>Citadel</b>, built by order of Saladin in 1176 and completed in 1182. From 1218 until the 19th century it was the official seat of the Egyptian government. The history of this area is full of palace intrigues, assassinations, overthrows and massacres such as that of the Mamluks in 1811. Representative buildings include the Muhammad Ali Mosque, also known as <b>the Alabaster Mosque</b>, built on the model of Istanbul´s Hagia Sophia.<br><br><br><b>13.45 hrs.-: Lunch included in a local restaurant.</b><br><br><br><b>15:00 hrs.-:</b> Visit the <b>Egyptian Museum</b>, which is about 10 km from the Pyramids and contains one of the most important and impressive archaeological exhibits in the world. The jewel of this exhibition is the treasure of Tutankhamun which occupies the entire upper floor. Remember that it takes at least a week to visit it in its entirety.<br><br><br><br><br>17:00 hrs-: Departure from the Egyptian Museum and return to the hotel.<br><br><br><br><br><b>18:00 hrs.-: Arrival at the hotel</b> and accommodation.<br><br><br>

E arly morning transfer to the airport for departure by scheduled flight (air included) to Aswan. Flight time is one hour and 25 minutes.
After arriving at Aswan airport we will visit the High Aswan Dam ; it is a huge engineering work that holds back the waters of the Nile River. The visit lasts about 20 minutes. Then we will visit the Philae Temple dedicated to the Goddess Isis and located on a small island which is only accessible by boat, the visit lasts about an hour. Visit the Unfinished Obelisk , forty-one metres high, where you can see the ingenious procedure used by the ancient Egyptians to extract the granite blocks. The visit lasts about 30 minutes. Transfer to the boat. The time of arrival at the boat depends on the Cairo / Aswan flight schedule. If there is availability and cabins are ready, they will be assigned upon arrival, if not, clients will have to wait until they are assigned.
13.00 hrs: Lunch included.
14.00 hrs.- River trip in the typical fishermen´s boats, called ‘falucas’. The ride takes about 45 to 60 minutes.
Dinner and overnight on board.

It takes 3.5 hours one way and 3.5 hours return. The visit lasts 2 hours. Visit of the temples carved into the western cliff of the desert by Ramses II in the 11th century BC, with statues 20 meters high, dedicated to the god Amon Ra, and the Temple of Nefertari, dedicated to the goddess Hathor.
Navigation to Kom Ombo which is 40 km from Aswan. Arrival at Kom Ombo temple around 16:30 / 17:00 hrs- . We will visit the only temple dedicated to two Gods: Haroeris, who had the head of a falcon and Sobek, with the head of a crocodile and God of fertility. The temple is about 200m from the boat. At Kom Ombo, you will also visit the Nilometer, used by the ancient Egyptians to measure the water level of the Nile. The visit lasts almost one and a half hours. After the visit return to the ship at 18:30 hrs. Overnight on board and sailing to Edfu.

It takes about 15 minutes each way and an hour and a half at the temple. The temple is dedicated to the falcon god Horus and is the best preserved temple in Egypt and the second largest in the country. After the visit, return to the boat.
Navigation to Luxor, crossing the Esna lock. Luxor is 120 km from Edfu.
It takes 4 hours to reach the Esna lock; we will wait for our turn to cross and sail another 4 hours to reach Luxor.
Note: If we arrive at Luxor in daylight, we leave to visit the two temples of Karnak and Luxor . But if you arrive late, you will visit only Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple the next day after the visits to the Valley of the Kings, Deir el Bahari, Madinet Habu and the Colossi of Memnon.

Arrival at the Valley of the Kings around 06:45 hrs. The visit ends around 08:30 hrs. We will travel 4 kilometres and visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut in Deir Al Bahari, transfer by bus and in 10 minutes arrival at Deir Bahari, the duration of the visit is one hour, after a 10 minute bus transfer, we will arrive at the temple of Medinet Habu located about 4 kilometres from the temple of Hatshepsut we will visit it in about an hour. Return to the boat, short stop to admire the Colossi of Memnon. After the visit, return to the boat until the time of transfer to the airport to take the flight Luxor - Cairo (included).
At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo. The airport is 4 kilometres from the ship.
Arrival and transfer to the hotel in Cairo and accommodation.
Lunch on the last day of the cruise is not included.
Departure from the hotel at 18:30 hrs. We will visit the Pyramids Sound and Light show at about 19:00 hrs. The show itself lasts one hour. Return to the hotel around 20:30. Overnight stay.
