Here we give you a guidance on their tour with the information that we believe may be of your interest. The information is indicative, may exist variations on designated hours.
TRANSFER from the airport, if you have it included or purchasing. Our transfer will be waiting for you with a poster on behalf of Europamundo or its name to the output of the custom (after collecting your luggage)..
Remember to inform us by phone if you lost your connection flight or expected delay of their arrival, in your VOUCHER figure the phone of the transfer.
IMPORTANT: If you had additional nights upon arrival the hotel will have your reservation, but his travel guide normally will not be until the night before the start of the tour.
E arly morning transfer to the airport for departure by scheduled flight (air included) to Aswan. Flight time is one hour and 25 minutes.
After arriving at Aswan airport we will visit the High Aswan Dam ; it is a huge engineering work that holds back the waters of the Nile River. The visit lasts about 20 minutes. Then we will visit the Philae Temple dedicated to the Goddess Isis and located on a small island which is only accessible by boat, the visit lasts about an hour. Visit the Unfinished Obelisk , forty-one metres high, where you can see the ingenious procedure used by the ancient Egyptians to extract the granite blocks. The visit lasts about 30 minutes. Transfer to the boat. The time of arrival at the boat depends on the Cairo / Aswan flight schedule. If there is availability and cabins are ready, they will be assigned upon arrival, if not, clients will have to wait until they are assigned.

14.00 hrs.- River trip in the typical fishermen´s boats, called ‘falucas’. The ride takes about 45 to 60 minutes.
Dinner and overnight on board.
Optional excursion (not included) by road (if the ship´s schedule allows it): Departure from the ship in the early morning and take the convoy to Abu Simbel. It takes 3.5 hours one way and 3.5 hours return. The visit lasts 2 hours. Visit of the temples carved into the western cliff of the desert by Ramses II in the 11th century BC, with statues 20 meters high, dedicated to the god Amon Ra, and the Temple of Nefertari, dedicated to the goddess Hathor.
Navigation to Kom Ombo which is 40 km from Aswan. Arrival at Kom Ombo temple around 16:30 / 17:00 hrs- . We will visit the only temple dedicated to two Gods: Haroeris, who had the head of a falcon and Sobek, with the head of a crocodile and God of fertility. The temple is about 200m from the boat. At Kom Ombo, you will also visit the Nilometer, used by the ancient Egyptians to measure the water level of the Nile. The visit lasts almost one and a half hours. After the visit return to the ship at 18:30 hrs. Overnight on board and sailing to Edfu.
Around 06.00 AM. Visit of the Temple of Edfu. The temple is one km from the boat. The transfer from the boat to Edfu Temple is done by rickshaw. It takes about 15 minutes each way and an hour and a half at the temple. The temple is dedicated to the falcon god Horus and is the best preserved temple in Egypt and the second largest in the country. After the visit, return to the boat.
Navigation to Luxor, crossing the Esna lock. Luxor is 120 km from Edfu.
It takes 4 hours to reach the Esna lock; we will wait for our turn to cross and sail another 4 hours to reach Luxor.
Note: If we arrive at Luxor in daylight, we leave to visit the two temples of Karnak and Luxor . But if you arrive late, you will visit only Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple the next day after the visits to the Valley of the Kings, Deir el Bahari, Madinet Habu and the Colossi of Memnon.
If you arrive very late you will visit the two temples of Luxor and Karnak the next day, also after the visits of the Valley of the Kings, Deir el Bahari, Madinet Habu and the Colossi of Memnon.
No exact time can be given. Visit the temples of Karnak and Luxor which constitute the most important monumental complex in Egypt, built over two thousand years. The temples are about 3 km from the boat and the visit lasts 3 hours. Overnight on board.
Luggage will be deposited on the boat and collected before departure to the airport. Check out from the ship before 06:00 AM.
Departure of the boat at 06:00 hrs. We will visit the Necropolis of Thebes , including the famous Valley of the Kings which is 18 Kilometers from the ship. Arrival at the Valley of the Kings around 06:45 hrs. The visit ends around 08:30 hrs. We will travel 4 kilometres and visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut in Deir Al Bahari, transfer by bus and in 10 minutes arrival at Deir Bahari, the duration of the visit is one hour, after a 10 minute bus transfer, we will arrive at the temple of Medinet Habu located about 4 kilometres from the temple of Hatshepsut we will visit it in about an hour. Return to the boat, short stop to admire the Colossi of Memnon. After the visit, return to the boat until the time of transfer to the airport to take the flight Luxor - Cairo (included).
At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo. The airport is 4 kilometres from the ship.
Arrival and transfer to the hotel in Cairo and accommodation.
Lunch on the last day of the cruise is not included.
Departure from the hotel at 18:30 hrs. We will visit the Pyramids Sound and Light show at about 19:00 hrs. The show itself lasts one hour. Return to the hotel around 20:30. Overnight stay.
Note: Depending on the days of operation of the show, this may be done on day 2 instead of day 6 of the trip.
