Welcome to your Europamundo Trip Style tour!
We will leave around 8.30 in the morning. We will start our tour visiting the Roman site of COMPLUTUM, origin of the current Alcalá de Henares. We will walk through its streets, porticoes, forums, public baths, the basilica, we will admire its mosaics and mural paintings in private homes. Then we will have time in the center of ALCALA DE HENARES, we will visit the Casa de Cervantes (entrance included) where the famous writer was born. We will continue our route making a stop at the Mirador de los Buitres in Pelegrina (Rodríguez de la Fuente viewpoint), a spectacular canyon overflown by vultures in the shadow of a ruined castle. We arrive at SIGUENZA, a city with a long history dating back to Roman times, although its greatest splendor came during the Middle Ages when it became an important fortified city. We will know the cathedral (highlights the burial of "The Doncel" considered a masterpiece of late Spanish Gothic), the Castle of Sigüenza is today a National Parador, time for lunch. We continue to MEDINACELI, the "City of the Hill or of the Sky", one of the most beautiful villages in the province of Soria. We will lose ourselves in its narrow streets mixture of cultures and we will see its Roman Arch, from which we will enjoy a surprising view. We will arrive at SORIA, a small and pleasant city full of legends on the banks of the Douro River, quiet and inspiring. It emphasizes its wide and varied religious architecture, highlighting the hermitage of San Saturio excavated in the rock next to the Douro River (entrance included), the Cloister of San Juan de Duero with its fantastic mixture of styles (entrance included) and the Romanesque façade of Santo Domingo. At night we can taste the wide culinary offer of its bars and restaurants.
