Dear Traveler: thank you for choosing us to perform this Tour! We hope you enjoy your trip.
Here we give you a guidance on their tour with the information that we believe may be of your interest. The information is indicative, may exist variations on designated hours.
TRANSFER from the airport, if you have it included or purchasing. Our transfer will be waiting for you with a poster on behalf of Europamundo or its name to the output of the custom (after collecting your luggage)..
Remember to inform us by phone if you lost your connection flight or expected delay of their arrival, in your VOUCHER figure the phone of the transfer.
IMPORTANT: If you had additional nights upon arrival the hotel will have your reservation, but his travel guide normally will not be until the night before the start of the tour.
IMPORTANT:
-Please note that hotel check-in time is usually at 02:00 p.m. If you require earlier room availability, consider booking an additional night at the beginning of your trip.
-If you requested additional nights, your room will be ready upon arrival at the hotel, but your trip guide will only contact you when the included activities begin. At the reception, you will find an information board with our staff’s telephone number and hours of assistance. Until then, you have free time to enjoy at your leisure. The hotel staff can assist you with any information you need.
-During your trip, your guide may offer optional activities. If these activities are available on the Europamundo app or through your "My Trip" link, we strongly recommend booking them as early as possible to ensure availability. Waiting until the last minute may result in missed opportunities due to limited tickets, bus seats, or other factors.
Note: The schedules provided in this itinerary are indicative. The guide may adjust them as needed to enhance the trip experience.
07:45 a.m. - Departure from Paris.
08:30 a.m. - Versailles. Arrival to the Palace of Versailles (tickets not included; please note that there may be long lines to enter due to the large number of visitors). This grand palace, once the residence of French kings, offers a fascinating glimpse into the culture and history of France.
11:30 a.m. - Departure from Versailles. Departure time may vary if there are delays entering the palace. Upon returning to Paris, we’ll head to Montmartre. We’ll take a cable car (included) up to this bohemian artists’ district, where we can admire the Sacré Coeur Basilica and wander through its picturesque square and winding alleys.
03:00 p.m. - We’ll start a two-and-a-half-hour panoramic tour of Paris with a local guide. This tour will take us to iconic landmarks like the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées, La Madeleine, Place de la Concorde, the Opera, the Louvre, the Tour Saint-Jacques, the City Hall, Île de la Cité with Notre-Dame, the Latin Quarter, the Pantheon, the Sorbonne, the Luxembourg Garden, Les Invalides, the École militaire, Champ de Mars, the Eiffel Tower and the banks of the Seine. We’ll have brief stops near Les Invalides and Champ de Mars. After the tour, we’ll return to the hotel, with an optional stop in the city center for those who want to enjoy more free time in Paris.
At the end of this enriching day, the guide will suggest an optional evening outing to a cabaret or variety show, such as the Moulin Rouge or Paradis Latin.
Note: Due to the high volume of tourism in Paris, the order of the services offered in the city may vary.
Note: If wait times at the Eiffel Tower are too long, we might reschedule the visit to a different time (or on Sunday) for your convenience.
Scenery: Enjoy the pleasant landscapes of central France and picturesque villages.
08:00 a.m. – Departure from Paris. We’ll head to the heart of France, passing through the Burgundy region, renowned for its picturesque vineyards and world-class wines.
12:15 p.m. - Beaune. We’ll arrive in this charming village in the Burgundy wine region, known for its flower-filled streets, historic hospice, and wine museum. You´ll have free time to explore.
02:30 p.m. – Departure from Beaune.
04:30 p.m. – Lyon, located on the banks of the Rhône River. We’ll arrive in France´s third-largest city that was once the capital of Roman Gaul. The city´s historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We´ll take a cable car up to Notre-Dame de Fourvière, offering spectacular views of the city. You´ll have free time to explore Lyon.
Note: In some cases, part of the group will stay in Chambéry, a city near Lyon. In these instances, we’ll travel from Lyon at 7:00 p.m. to Chambéry, with arrival at 8:30 p.m. for an overnight stay. In the morning, you’ll have time to visit this medieval-style city, the capital of Saboya, known for its beautiful historic center and impressive castle.
Scenery: Spectacular mountain landscapes with the peaks of the Alps covered in snow all year.
Note: Remember to bring warm clothes, as snow is common from November to April. Keep your camera ready, and if there´s snow by the road, we´ll make a brief stop so you can enjoy it. Also, keep your passport handy; it may be required when entering Switzerland.
08:00 a.m. – Departure from Lyon. We’ll head into mountainous areas as we make our way to Switzerland.
10:00 a.m. - Geneva - We’ll arrive in this vibrant city on the shores of Lake Geneva, the capital of French-speaking Switzerland and home to the European headquarters of the United Nations, the International Labor Organization, the Red Cross, and many other international organizations. We’ll pass by the Palais des Nations (UN headquarters in Europe) and our guide till take us to visit the beautiful English Garden with its famous flower clock and the Jet d´Eau, the tallest fountain in Europe. You’ll have free time to explore the city center, featuring its impressive lake.
12:00 p.m. – Departure from Geneva. The landscapes will become even more picturesque as we drive through the Alps. We’ll stop for lunch at a service station. We’ll enter Italy through the Mont Blanc Tunnel, so keep an eye out for the stunning glaciers.
05:00 p.m. - Milan. We’ll head to the Piazza del Duomo with our local guide and tour the historic downtown. After some time exploring, we’ll transfer to our hotel, located outside the city center.
Scenery: Northern Italy.
08:00 a.m. - Departure from Milan. We’ll travel across the Po Valley.
12:45 p.m. - Venice. We’ll proceed to the Tronchetto terminal to board a private boat for a journey through Giudecca Canal to Venice. Upon arrival, you’ll have time for lunch, followed by a guided city tour. We’ll walk around St. Mark’s Square, taking in the Basilica and Campanile. We’ll also visit a renowned Murano glass workshop to learn about the techniques used by skilled glass artisans. Free afternoon at your disposal to discover the nooks and crannies of this special city. If you wish, the guide will arrange an optional gondola ride in the afternoon.
07:30 p.m. - Return by boat to the Tronchetto port and then transfer to your hotel in the Mestre/Marghera area.

17:00 hrs. - Salida de Venecia-Tronchetto.
20:15 hrs. - Florencia - Llegada. Los viajeros con media pensión tienen la cena incluida.
Paisajes: Agradables; poblaciones históricas en el recorrido.
Por la mañana traslado al mirador de Michelangelo donde podremos tener una de las vistas más bellas sobre la ciudad. Paramos para tomar una foto antes de dirigirnos a la ciudad. Tras ello, incluimos una visita panorámica de la ciudad con guía local, la visita dura aproximadamente dos horas, se realiza la mayor parte caminando por el centro histórico; admiraremos la catedral, las plazas, el Ponte Vechio sobre el Arno…. Tiempo libre posteriormente. Almuerzo incluido para los pasajeros que adquirieron media pensión.
16:30 hrs. - Florencia -Salida.
20:30 hrs . – Roma –Llegada-.
This tour will conclude in Vatican City, an independent state within Rome and the heart of the Catholic Church. For those interested, our guide will offer an optional visit after the panoramic tour, providing deeper insight into St. Peter’s Basilica and the most notable rooms of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. The afternoon will be free.
06:30 p.m. - In the evening, we´ll include a transfer to Trastevere, a lively neighborhood known for its charming traditional restaurants. We’ll return to the hotel at approximately 08:30 p.m.
Scenery: We’ll cross the Apennines to the Adriatic Sea coast, enjoying stunning coastal landscapes along the way.
Note: From May to mid-October, if the weather is favorable, you’ll have the chance to swim at Termoli beach. If you’re interested, please remember to bring your swimsuit and a towel.
08:00 a.m. – Departure from Rome. Today, we’ll head towards the Adriatic Sea, passing through the breathtaking landscapes of the Apennine Mountains.
11:30 a.m. – S. Giovanni in Venere Abbey (admission included). We’ll stop at this beautiful 11th-century Benedictine abbey, perched on a hill overlooking the Adriatic Sea and surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. The abbey is built on the ruins of an ancient Roman temple dedicated to Venus.
12:30 p.m. - Departure from S. Giovanni in Venere Abbey.
01:30 p.m. - Termoli. We’ll arrive in this charming seaside town, known for its walled old quarter, 13th-century castle, and Romanesque cathedral. You’ll have time for lunch and a stroll. How about taking a dip in the sea?
03:30 p.m. - Departure from Termoli. We’ll continue our journey south along the Adriatic coastal road.
06:30 p.m. - Bari. Arrival and free time to explore this beautiful port city, inhabited since before Roman times. Its historic center, with narrow winding streets surrounded by ancient walls and dominated by a Norman castle, is one of the symbols of Apulia. The city´s vibrant atmosphere makes it truly special, full of the authentic charm of southern Italy.
08:30 p.m. - Transfer to the hotel.
Scenery: Adriatic coast, plains, olive groves.
Note: Be sure to bring some warm clothing so you can enjoy the ferry deck during the beautiful journey.
After breakfast, you’ll have time to explore the old town of Bari, a port city with a history dating back to pre-Roman times. Its narrow streets, churches, and vibrant atmosphere make it a truly special place.
09:00 a.m. - Departure from Bari. We’ll continue our journey along the Adriatic Sea coast.
10:30 a.m. - Brindisi. You’ll have time to explore this walled city, whose large port connects southern Italy with Greece. Enjoy a pleasant seaside walk, visit the impressive Roman column, and wander through the old town´s charming streets.
12:30 p.m. – Departure from Brindisi. We’ll be heading to Greece! We’ll board a modern ferry for a crossing over the Ionian Sea, traveling from Italy to Greece. The scheduled departure is at 1:00 p.m.
09:00 p.m. - Arrival in Igoumenitsa and transfer to the hotel.
Notes:
-You will need to keep your luggage with you during the ferry crossing. If the group is small, you may travel without a Europamundo guide on board, but a new guide will meet you upon arrival.
-In some cases, due to limited accommodation options in Igoumenitsa, your hotel may be in a nearby town.
Landscapes: High mountains in northern Greece. Stunning landscapes in the Meteora region.
Note: We’ll visit Orthodox monasteries. Please wear appropriate clothing (women will be provided with skirts upon arrival at the monastery). Comfortable shoes are recommended as there will be a lot of stairs to climb!
09:00 a.m. – Departure from Igoumenitsa. After breakfast, we´ll journey through the tall mountains of Epirus.
10:30 a.m. – Metsovo. Arrival in this picturesque Balkan village nestled among mountains and very popular among tourists. Isolated by mountains from the rest of Greece, it preserves a distinct culture, strongly influenced by Slavic and Turkish traditions. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through its streets lined with traditional stone houses, red tile roofs, and carved wooden balconies.
12:30 p.m. – Departure from Metsovo. Continuing into the region of Thessaly.
02:00 p.m. – Kastraki. We’ll stop in this charming village with breathtaking views over the Meteora Valley where you’ll have some free time for lunch. Afterward, we’ll visit the Meteora, an awe-inspiring World Heritage Site. The name "Metéora" in Greek means "suspended in the air" or "in the sky," reflecting the monasteries perched atop immense rock formations. For centuries, monks and hermits have sought tranquility and solitude in these isolated locations. We´ll explore the entire valley and include admission to one of its most renowned monasteries. Arrival in Kalabaka. Dinner will be included.
Scenery: Stunning landscapes of the Mediterranean and Delphi.
Note: The order of the day’s program may vary; we may visit the Hosios Loukas Monastery before Delphi.
08:00 a.m. – Departure from Kalabaka. We’ll travel through Thessaly towards Central Greece, enjoying spectacular sea views, before reaching Delphi.
11:30 a.m. - Delphi. Admission included to the beautiful archaeological complex overlooking the Gulf of Corinth, a magical place. There will be time for lunch.
02:30 p.m. – Departure from Delphi. We’ll continue our journey amidst mountains with Mount Parnassus dominating the landscape.
03:15 p.m. - Hosios Loukas Monastery. Arrival at one of the most beautiful Byzantine monasteries in Greece, a World Heritage Site, with breathtaking 11th-century mosaics.
04:30 p.m. – Departure from Hosios Loukas.
07:15 p.m. – Athens.
Note: Please be aware that the hotel check-out time is usually 10:00 a.m. You can leave your luggage in reception upon check-out, allowing you to explore the city without carrying your bags. You can retrieve your luggage at your convenience later in the day. If you require additional time to use your room, we recommend booking an extra night at the end of your tour.
