Dear Traveler: thank you for choosing us to perform this Tour! We hope you enjoy your trip.
Here we give you a guidance on their tour with the information that we believe may be of your interest. The information is indicative, may exist variations on designated hours.
TRANSFER from the airport, if you have it included or purchasing. Our transfer will be waiting for you with a poster on behalf of Europamundo or its name to the output of the custom (after collecting your luggage)..
Remember to inform us by phone if you lost your connection flight or expected delay of their arrival, in your VOUCHER figure the phone of the transfer.
IMPORTANT: If you had additional nights upon arrival the hotel will have your reservation, but his travel guide normally will not be until the night before the start of the tour.
IMPORTANT:
-Please note that hotel check-in time is usually at 02:00 p.m. If you require earlier room availability, consider booking an additional night at the beginning of your trip.
-If you requested additional nights, your room will be ready upon arrival at the hotel, but your trip guide will only contact you when the included activities begin. At the reception, you will find an information board with our staff’s telephone number and hours of assistance. Until then, you have free time to enjoy at your leisure. The hotel staff can assist you with any information you need.
-During your trip, your guide may offer optional activities. If these activities are available on the Europamundo app or through your "My Trip" link, we strongly recommend booking them as early as possible to ensure availability. Waiting until the last minute may result in missed opportunities due to limited tickets, bus seats, or other factors.
Note: The schedules provided in this itinerary are indicative. The guide may adjust them as needed to enhance the trip experience.
08:30 p.m. - We’ll return to the hotel from the lively Restauradores Square , filled with vibrant bars and cafes.
Scenery: Pleasant green landscapes, hills, historic cities.
08:00 a.m. – Departure from Lisbon.
09:45 a.m. – Fátima. We’ll have time to visit the Sanctuary, a significant pilgrimage site marking the apparitions of Our Lady to the Three Shepherd Children. The chapel was built in 1919 at the location of the 1917 apparitions in Cova de Iria, and the Sanctuary has since expanded to accommodate the growing number of pilgrims.
11:30 a.m. – Departure from Fátima.
02:00 p.m. – Porto. You’ll have some free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll board a traditional Portuguese "Rabelo" boat for a 50-minute cruise along the Douro River, offering a unique view of the city´s beautiful riverside as we pass under the six bridges that span the river, including the iconic Dom Luís I Bridge, one of the city´s most famous landmarks. While enjoying the experience, we’ll also have the opportunity to taste a delicious glass of Port wine, the most famous of Portuguese wines, produced in this region and once transported on these very boats. Afterwards, you’ll have free time, and we recommend exploring the medieval Ribeira district, with its narrow, cobblestone streets lined with old merchant houses and charming cafes.
07:00 p.m. - We´ll provide a transfer to the hotel.
Scenery: Beautiful green countryside and views over the Rías Baixas.
Note: Remember to bring warm clothes for the boat trip.
08:00 a.m. - Departure from Porto.
09:00 a.m. - Arrival in Braga. We´ll visit the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus and take a trip on the world’s oldest water-operated cable car. After exploring the sanctuary, we recommend descending via its picturesque staircase.
10:15 a.m. - Departure from Bom Jesus. We´ll head to Galicia with stunning views over the Galician estuaries.
13:00 p.m. (12:00 p.m. in Portugal) - Arrival in Cambados. This historic maritime town offers a glass-bottomed boat trip along the Ría de Arousa, where we´ll learn about mussel farming. Onboard, enjoy wine and mussel tastings. Free time to explore Cambados and have lunch follows.
16:00 p.m. - Departure from Cambados.
16:45 p.m. - Arriving in Santiago de Compostela, you´ll embark on a city tour with a local guide, learning about how St. James has drawn pilgrims for centuries. Wander through the medieval streets of the center and marvel at its majestic cathedral.
Note: On certain dates, particularly during the celebration of St. James’ Day, our groups may need to be accommodated in a city near Santiago.
Scenery: Green Castilian landscapes and villages.
08:00 a.m. – Departure from Santiago. Following the ancient way of St. James, amidst picturesque scenery, we’ll travel to Lugo.
09:30 hrs. - Lugo - arrival and free time, you can stroll around its walls built more than 2000 years ago by the Romans, declared UNESCO World Heritage.
10:30 a.m. Departure from Lugo. We’ll travel to Castile, and on our way, we’ll make a stop at O Cebreiro, a small Galician stone village that shows us this region’s traditional way of life.
01:45 p.m. – León. We’ll have time for lunch and a stroll in this historic city, located on the Way of St. James. Its Gothic cathedral stands out with magnificent stained-glass windows.
04:15 p.m. – Departure from León.
08:30 p.m. – Madrid.
Note: Depending on the group size, the journey from León to Madrid may be done by train or regular transport.
Scenery: Varied, with rugged sections, arid areas, and Mediterranean landscapes towards the end.
07:30 a.m. - Departure from Madrid. We’ll make a brief stop along the way.
12:30 p.m. - Zaragoza. Our guide will provide information about the city, leaving you in Plaza del Pilar to visit the basilica and enjoy lunch.
02:30 p.m. - Departure from Zaragoza.
05:00 p.m. – Poblet Abbey. We’ll stop to visit this beautifully preserved medieval monastery, surrounded by ancient walls in a picturesque setting (admission included).
06:15 p.m. - Departure from Poblet Abbey. We’ll travel through the rich agricultural regions of central Catalonia.
08:00 p.m. - Barcelona.
In the evening we include a transfer to the Maremagnum , an avant-garde leisure center with restaurants facing the sea, next to Plaza Colón, where you can stroll through this lively area and dine.
- Barcelona –Dispone de tiempo libre en la capital Catalana-. Sugerimos un paseo por el Barrio Gótico, no deje de visitar la catedral. Tiempo para pasear. 12:00 hrs . - Barcelona –salida-. Viajamos hacia Francia. Parada en ruta para almorzar (almuerzo incluido a pasajeros que hayan adquirido media pensión). Continuamos atravesando la región de la Provenza y la Costa Azul siguiendo por el sur Mediterráneo.
21:00 hrs . - Costa Azul –Llegada-. Alojamiento.
Paisajes: Agradables; poblaciones históricas en el recorrido.
Por la mañana traslado al mirador de Michelangelo donde podremos tener una de las vistas más bellas sobre la ciudad. Paramos para tomar una foto antes de dirigirnos a la ciudad. Tras ello, incluimos una visita panorámica de la ciudad con guía local, la visita dura aproximadamente dos horas, se realiza la mayor parte caminando por el centro histórico; admiraremos la catedral, las plazas, el Ponte Vechio sobre el Arno…. Tiempo libre posteriormente. Almuerzo incluido para los pasajeros que adquirieron media pensión.
16:30 hrs. - Florencia -Salida.
20:30 hrs . – Roma –Llegada-.
This tour will conclude in Vatican City, an independent state within Rome and the heart of the Catholic Church. For those interested, our guide will offer an optional visit after the panoramic tour, providing deeper insight into St. Peter’s Basilica and the most notable rooms of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. The afternoon will be free.
06:30 p.m. - In the evening, we´ll include a transfer to Trastevere, a lively neighborhood known for its charming traditional restaurants. We’ll return to the hotel at approximately 08:30 p.m.
07:30 hrs . - Roma -Salida. Breve parada en ruta.
12:30 hrs . - Pisa - Llegada. - Nuestro guía le orientará sobre el recinto monumental de la ciudad. La normativa turística de la ciudad nos obliga a aparcar el autocar en el recinto previsto para ello, este parking se ubica aproximadamente a un kilómetro del recinto monumental, usted puede acceder caminando o en autobusitos urbanos; rogamos observe el número del autobús de cara a su regreso; nuestro guía le informará. Tiempo para conocer el recinto monumental con la torre, la catedral, el batisterio y almorzar. Los viajeros en media pensión tienen el almuerzo incluido.
15:00 hrs. - Pisa - Salida. - Breve parada en el camino.
19:30 hrs . - Torino – Llegada. Torino es una ciudad de pernocte conveniente por ruta. El tiempo de que disponemos no es suficiente para su visita; pero le aconsejamos dar un paseo por el centro histórico.
Paisajes: Muy bonitos al comienzo del día al atravesar los Alpes junto al Monte Blanco. Altas cumbres alpinas con nieve en sus cumbres todo el año. Glaciares.
NOTA: Lleve el pasaporte a mano, en ocasiones puede ser requerido al pasar a Suiza. No olvide llevar su cámara a mano, los paisajes nevados son de gran belleza.
07:30 hrs. - Torino -Salida. Atravesamos los Alpes pasando junto a la más alta cumbre de montaña de Europa: el Monte Blanco. Túnel muy largo bajo la más alta montaña de la Unión Europea, Paso a Francia. Pasamos por la región de Chamonix, paso a Suiza.
11:00 hrs. - Ginebra. -La capital de la Suiza de habla francesa, activa ciudad a orillas del lago Leman. Tiempo para pasear y almorzar.
14:00 hrs. - Ginebra -Salida. Atravesamos el centro de Francia viajando hacia París.
21:00 hrs. - París - Llegada al final del día.
Scenery: Rolling green hills of the Loire Valley.
08:30 a.m. - We’ll depart from the hotel and head to the Eiffel Tower, where tickets to the second floor are included (please note that there may be long waits due to the high number of visitors). The second floor offers the best views, providing an optimal altitude for seeing the city below (which is less visible from the third floor) and offers a better overall perspective compared to the first floor. From this vantage point, you can see up to 70 km on a clear day. After descending the tower, we’ll enjoy a scenic boat trip along the Seine River, offering stunning views of Paris´ iconic monuments and bridges.
05:30 p.m. - We’ll leave Paris and begin our journey to the Loire Valley.
08:30 p.m. - Arrival in Tours, the picturesque capital of the Loire region. We recommend taking the evening to enjoy dinner and a leisurely stroll through the charming old town.
Note: Due to potential long wait times, our visit to the Eiffel Tower may be rescheduled for another time or day (possibly Sunday) to best fit our schedule.
Scenery: Beautiful French countryside.
08:00 a.m. - Departure. We’ll continue our tour, heading to the south of France through vineyards.
12:00 p.m. - Bordeaux. Its town center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll have time for lunch and to explore. We suggest visiting the Port of the Moon and the Cathedral of St. Andrew.
02:30 p.m. - Departure from Bordeaux, continuing south towards the Pyrenees.
06:00 p.m. - Lourdes. Arrival in the late afternoon. Our guide will introduce you to this beautiful mountain town, renowned worldwide as a Catholic pilgrimage site due to the Marian apparitions at its Sanctuary. We recommend attending the candlelight procession, which typically takes place at 9:00 p.m. (until the end of October) and visiting the various places of worship. Dinner in the hotel is included for all travelers.
Scenery: Beautiful mountain landscapes in the morning. Picturesque villages along the route.
07:30 a.m. – Departure from Lourdes. We’ll cross the Pyrenees, the natural border between France and Spain, with its snow-capped peaks visible for much of the year and breathtaking landscapes.
09:30 a.m. - Sallent de Gállego. Just near the French border, we’ll make a brief stop to explore this charming Aragonese Pyrenean village, known for its Gothic church and medieval stone bridge.
10:15 a.m. - Departure Sallent. We’ll continue our journey through the mountains.
11:45 a.m. - Huesca. We’ll have time for a stroll and a coffee in the historic center of this provincial capital, where highlights include the cathedral and the 12th-century Abbey of San Pedro el Viejo with its beautiful Romanesque cloister.
01:00 p.m. - Departure from Huesca.
02:00 p.m. - Zaragoza. We’ll stop in the bustling capital of Aragon for lunch, explore the historic district, and visit the impressive Plaza del Pilar, home to both the Cathedral and the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
04:30 p.m. - Departure from Zaragoza.
09:00 p.m. - Madrid. Arrival at the end of the day.
Note: Please be aware that the hotel check-out time is usually 10:00 a.m. You can leave your luggage in reception upon check-out, allowing you to explore the city without carrying your bags. You can retrieve your luggage at your convenience later in the day. If you require additional time to use your room, we recommend booking an extra night at the end of your tour.
